Mr. and Mrs. North
Mr. and Mrs. North is an American mystery television series that aired from 1952 to 1954, starring Barbara Britton and Richard Denning as Pamela and Jerry North, a married couple who solve murders from their Greenwich Village apartment. Jerry is a mystery magazine publisher who fancies himself an amateur detective, while Pamela is the real brains of the operation, with sharp intuition and a knack for noticing the details others miss. They work alongside Lieutenant Bill Weigand of the NYPD, who tolerates their interference because they get results. The series was based on a series of novels by Richard and Frances Lockridge and was one of the first television shows to feature a married couple as detective partners. Many episodes are in the public domain.
