Francis De Sales

American actor best known for playing Lieutenant Bill Weigand in the television series Mr. and Mrs. North (1952-1954). Born in 1912, he appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout the 1950s and 1960s, often playing police officers and authority figures. His Weigand was the long-suffering police detective who relied on the amateur sleuthing of Jerry and Pamela North to solve cases.
