The Dick Van Dyke Show

8.3/101961–19665 Seasons30 EpisodesDirected by Carl Reiner

The Dick Van Dyke Show is an American sitcom created by Carl Reiner that aired on CBS from 1961 to 1966. Dick Van Dyke stars as Rob Petrie, the head writer for a fictional television variety show, juggling the absurdities of the writers' room with the gentle chaos of home life in New Rochelle alongside his wife Laura, played by Mary Tyler Moore. The series pioneered a modern, naturalistic style of sitcom storytelling, interweaving workplace comedy with domestic scenes and building each episode around character rather than gimmick. The first season's 30 episodes were never copyrighted and entered the public domain, which is why they can be streamed here freely.
