The Roy Rogers Show
The Roy Rogers Show is an American Western television series that aired from 1951 to 1957, starring Roy Rogers as a modern-day rancher and Dale Evans as the proprietor of the Eureka Cafe in the fictional town of Mineral City. Alongside his horse Trigger and dog Bullet, Roy helps local residents and law enforcement bring outlaws to justice. The series was a spin-off of sorts from Rogers's enormously successful film career, translating his singing cowboy persona to the new medium of television. Produced by Roy Rogers Productions, the show ran for 100 episodes and was a staple of family viewing throughout the 1950s. Many episodes are in the public domain because their copyrights were never renewed.
