The Adventures of Kit Carson
The Adventures of Kit Carson is an American Western television series that aired from 1951 to 1955, starring Bill Williams as the legendary frontier scout Christopher "Kit" Carson and Don Diamond as his Mexican companion El Toro. Though inspired by the historical Kit Carson, the series is pure fiction, sending Carson and El Toro on adventures across the American West where they right wrongs, protect the innocent, and bring outlaws to justice. The series was produced by Revue Productions and distributed by MCA TV for first-run syndication, making it one of the first original syndicated television series. Over 100 episodes were produced, and the series was a staple of local television programming for decades. Many episodes are in the public domain.
