The Outlaw

A fictionalized western in which Billy the Kid, Doc Holliday, and Pat Garrett circle one another in a love-and-rivalry triangle over a half-Mexican woman. Howard Hughes produced and directed, famously clashing with the Production Code over Jane Russell's presence; the film's release was delayed for years. The film entered the public domain through non-renewal.
