Tormented
A ghostly horror film directed by B-movie maestro Bert I. Gordon. Jazz pianist Tom Stewart (Richard Carlson) is about to marry his sweetheart when his former lover Vi confronts him at a lighthouse. During an argument, Vi falls to her death—and Tom does nothing to save her. Soon, her disembodied hand and floating head begin to haunt him, whispering accusations and appearing at the most inopportune moments. As the wedding approaches, Tom's guilt drives him to madness. Gordon's daughter Susan plays the little girl who befriends Tom and witnesses some of the hauntings. Joe Turkel, later famous as the bartender in The Shining, appears as a gangster. The film was featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000. The film is in the public domain.
