Allied Artists

American film production and distribution company. Originally a subsidiary of Monogram Pictures, Allied Artists became a separate brand in 1946. The company made low-budget films and distributed House on Haunted Hill (1959). Allied Artists also produced some higher-budget films in the 1960s before closing in the 1970s.
