Snafuperman

Snafuperman is a 1944 Private Snafu cartoon directed by Friz Freleng for Leon Schlesinger Productions, produced for the U.S. Army Signal Corps. A Superman parody, the short features Snafu gaining superpowers after reading a comic book, only to bumble his way through a mission with his usual incompetence. The cartoon includes a brief cameo appearance by Superman himself (as "Super-Snafu"). As a U.S. government work, the film is in the public domain.
