Payday is a 1944 Private Snafu cartoon directed by Friz Freleng for Leon Schlesinger Productions, produced for the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Snafu receives his first paycheck and must decide what to do with his newfound wealth, learning lessons about financial responsibility and the dangers of gambling.
