Pigs in a Polka

Pigs in a Polka is a 1943 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Friz Freleng for Leon Schlesinger Productions. A parody of Disney's Three Little Pigs, the short retells the familiar story set to the music of Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dances. The Big Bad Wolf uses various disguises to trick the pigs, with the classical music underscore driving the comedy. The cartoon was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Short Subject (Cartoon).
