The March
A documentary film about the August 28, 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, where a quarter of a million people gathered to demand civil and economic rights for Black Americans. Directed by James Blue for the United States Information Agency, the film captures Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic "I Have a Dream" speech. Added to the National Film Registry in 2008. The film entered the public domain as a U.S. government work.
