The Violent Years is a 1956 American exploitation film directed by William Morgan from a screenplay by Edward D. Wood Jr., who went uncredited. Jean Moorhead, a Playboy Playmate, stars as Paula Parkins, the bored, wealthy leader of a gang of juvenile delinquent high school girls who commit robberies and assault men for thrills. The film follows the gang's escalating crimes and Paula's eventual downfall, framed as a cautionary tale about bad parenting and teenage rebellion. It was the most financially successful film with creative input from Ed Wood, released on a double bill by Headliner Productions. The film is in the public domain.
