Lady, Play Your Mandolin! is a 1931 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Rudolf Ising — the first entry in the Merrie Melodies series and Ising's solo directorial debut. Set in a Mexican cantina, the short features a drunken horseman who arrives at a saloon where a beautiful senorita plays the mandolin. The cartoon was intended to promote Warner Bros.' newly acquired music catalog. The film is in the public domain.
