High School Big Shot

A low-budget juvenile delinquency film written and directed by Joel Rapp and released by Roger Corman's Filmgroup. Tom Pittman, in his final film role before his death in a car crash at age 26, plays Marv Grant, a bright high school student manipulated by a popular girl (Virginia Aldridge) into writing her term paper, then driven to plan a million-dollar robbery to win her back. The film was not copyrighted at the time of its release and is in the public domain.
