Harry H. Corbett

English actor, born 1925. Best known for starring as Harold Steptoe, the frustrated son in the BBC sitcom Steptoe and Son (1962-1974). His performance as the aspiring intellectual trapped in his father's rag-and-bone trade made him one of the most respected comedic actors in British television. He was awarded the OBE in 1976. He died in 1982.
