American actor who played Deputy Lofty Craig in the Annie Oakley television series (1954-1957). Born in 1924, he appeared in several Western films and television shows in the 1950s before landing the role in Annie Oakley. His character was the local lawman who often worked alongside Annie to solve problems in the town of Diablo.
