Up the River

Two convicts become friends in prison, then compete for the affections of a woman on the outside, in a comedic tale of reform and romance. Directed by John Ford, starring Spencer Tracy and Humphrey Bogart in their feature film debuts and the only film in which they appeared together. The film entered the public domain through non-renewal.
