William Talman

American actor. Born in 1915, Talman is best known for playing the relentless prosecutor Hamilton Burger on the Perry Mason television series. On film he is memorable as the killer Emmett Myers in The Hitch-Hiker (1953), a role that made use of his real-life facial tic of a drooping eye. He worked in film and television through the 1960s. He died in 1968.
