William Eythe

American film and television actor (1918-1957) who appeared in several films of the 1940s, including Colonel Effingham's Raid (1946) and The House on 92nd Street (1945). He began his career on Broadway before being signed by 20th Century Fox. His career was cut short by his death at age 38.
