Warren William

American film actor, born in 1894. A leading man of pre-Code Hollywood, he specialized in suave, cynical characters and was known as the "King of Pre- Code." His films include Wives Under Suspicion (1938), The Wolf Man (1941), and numerous films of the 1930s. He died in 1948.
