Wallace Worsley

4 credits on HibingeTV

American film director and actor of the silent era. Born in 1878, he directed for Universal and is best known for The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923), the most ambitious American production to that time, with Lon Chaney as Quasimodo. He also directed Chaney in several other films. His direction was workmanlike and well-suited to large-scale spectacle.
