Steve Reeves

American bodybuilder and actor who appeared in Jail Bait (1954) early in his career. He later became famous for playing Hercules in the 1958 Italian film, which launched the sword-and-sandal genre. He was one of the most famous bodybuilders of his era before Arnold Schwarzenegger. He died in 2000.
