Steve McQueen

American actor, born in 1930. Known as "The King of Cool," he became one of Hollywood's biggest stars with films including The Great Escape (1963), Bullitt (1968), and The Towering Inferno (1974). Appeared early in his career in The Saint Louis Bank Robbery (1959) and The Blob (1958). He died in 1980.
