Shadi Abdel Salam

Egyptian film director, writer, and art director, born in 1930. Directed The Night of Counting the Years (1969, also known as The Mummy), his only feature film and a landmark of Egyptian cinema. Produced by Roberto Rossellini. He died in 1986.
