American silent film actress, born Signe Auen in 1894 in Spokane, Washington. She began her career at Triangle Film Corporation under D.W. Griffith, appearing in Intolerance (1916). She went on to star in a string of features for Cosmopolitan Productions in the early 1920s, including Back Pay (1922). Her screen career faded with the coming of sound, and she later worked as a screenwriter and sculptor. She died in 1966.
