Samantha Eggar

British actress, born in 1939. She won the Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Award and was nominated for an Academy Award for *The Collector* (1965), directed by William Wyler. Her film roles include *Walk... Don't Run* (1966) with Cary Grant and *The Molly Maguires* (1970) with Sean Connery. She also worked extensively in television.
