Sam Newfield

American film director, born Samuel Neufeld. One of the most prolific directors of low-budget pictures, he directed hundreds of B-westerns and genre films for Poverty Row studios. His credits include The Monster Maker (1944) and dozens of pictures for Producers Releasing Corporation. He was the brother of producer Sigmund Neufeld.
