Rosaura Revueltas

Mexican actress (1910-1996) best known for her starring role as Esperanza Quintero in Salt of the Earth (1954). She was deported from the United States during the film's production due to her alleged communist sympathies, and the film was suppressed upon release. She continued her career in Mexican theater and film.
