Ron Howard

American actor, director, and producer, born 1954. Began his career as a child actor, playing Opie Taylor on The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968) and Richie Cunningham on Happy Days (1974-1984). He later became one of Hollywood's most successful directors, with films including Apollo 13 (1995), A Beautiful Mind (2001), and Frost/Nixon (2008).
