Robert F. Hill

Canadian-born American film director, screenwriter, and actor, born in 1886. A prolific director of B-pictures and serials, he directed The Rogues' Tavern (1936) and numerous other low-budget genre films throughout the 1930s and 1940s. He began his career as an actor in silent films before transitioning to directing.
