Richard Daniels

American film actor, born in 1864. A veteran character comic of silent Hollywood, he often played flustered older men and fathers. He appeared in Harold Lloyd's Girl Shy (1924) as the small-town beau's father. He continued acting in shorts and features through the late 1920s. He died in 1939.
