Pola Illéry

Romanian-born actress, born in 1909. She appeared in French films of the early sound era, most notably as Pola in René Clair's Under the Roofs of Paris (1930). Her film career was brief, concentrated in the late 1920s and early 1930s. She later lived in the United States.
