Peggy Ann Garner

American actress, born 1932. A celebrated child star, she won an honorary Academy Juvenile Award for her performance in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945). Her later films include The Big Cat (1949). She continued acting into adulthood on stage and television. She died in 1984.
