Patsy Ruth Miller

American silent film actress, best known as Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923), her most acclaimed role. Born in 1904, she began as a child extra and rose to leading roles in the early 1920s. She appeared in several films opposite Lon Chaney and was a popular leading lady before retiring from the screen in the early 1930s.
