Stockbroker Nicholas Lawrence embezzles a million dollars from his firm and boards a plane bound for Shanghai, figuring he has one free weekend before the theft is discovered. On the flight he meets Cynthia Strong, a socialite fleeing a blackmailer, and when the plane goes down their problems — and the money — get a lot more complicated. Star Gene Raymond also directs, with Osa Massen and Francis Lederer in support. A compact late-40s crime picture with a lighter touch than most noir of the era, it is in the public domain after its copyright was not renewed.
