Ozzie Nelson

American bandleader, actor, and producer, born 1906. Best known as the co-creator and star of The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1952-1966), in which he appeared alongside his real-life family. He wrote and directed many episodes of the series. He died in 1975.
