Marshall Neilan

American film director, actor, and producer, born in 1891. A popular silent-era director known for his work with Mary Pickford, including Daddy-Long-Legs (1919) and several other Pickford features. He was one of the highest-paid directors of the 1920s but his career declined with the coming of sound. He died in 1958.
