Marie Prevost

Canadian-born American film actress, born in 1896. She began in Mack Sennett comedy shorts and became a popular leading lady of the 1920s, starring in Ernst Lubitsch's The Marriage Circle (1924) and The Kiss (1929). Her career declined sharply with sound, and she died in 1937.
