Lupino Lane

English actor, comedian, and film director, born in 1892. A member of the Lupino theatrical dynasty, he began in British music hall and silent comedy shorts before going to Hollywood, where he appeared in The Love Parade (1930) and directed a string of short comedies. He returned to Britain and continued on stage and in film. He died in 1959.
