A 1957 American Western directed by Carl K. Hittleman and distributed by
United Artists. Patricia Medina plays Angela Medley, a frontier gambler
who supports her hard-drinking father "Doc" Medley (Henry Hull) while
running with the gunslinger Slinger (Gerald Mohr). When the new town
physician Dr. Bruce Merritt (Richard Denning) arrives, Angela falls for
him, setting up an inevitable showdown between the outlaw and the
respectable life she wants. A compact, unpretentious B-western carried
by Medina's sympathetic lead performance, it circulated widely on
television and fell into the public domain when its copyright was not
renewed.
