Lois Wilson

American actress, born in 1894. She was a leading lady of silent cinema, appearing in films such as Manslaughter (1922) opposite Thomas Meighan, The Covered Wagon (1923), and The Show-Off (1926). She worked for Paramount and later MGM, and successfully transitioned to sound films before retiring in the mid-1930s. She was known for her natural, understated acting style.
