Lloyd Nolan

American film actor, born in 1902. A prolific character actor of the 1930s through 1970s, he appeared in Resisting Enemy Interrogation (1944) as the narrator and appeared in numerous films including A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945) and Peyton Place (1957). He died in 1985.
