Lester Vail

American film actor, born in 1897. He made his screen debut as one of the leads of Herbert Brenon's Beau Ideal (1931), borrowed from MGM for the part after Douglas Fairbanks Jr. withdrew. His film career was brief, spanning the early sound years of the 1930s. He died in 1959.
