American actor, vaudevillian, and cartoonist best known for playing Pancho, the Cisco Kid's sidekick, in the 1950-1956 television series. Born in 1881 to a prominent California family of Spanish descent, he had a long career in Broadway and Hollywood before landing the role that made him a television star. His Pancho was a comic but loyal companion, famous for the catchphrase "Oh, Ceesco!" Carrillo was also a conservationist; Leo Carrillo State Park in Malibu is named for him.
