Kirby Grant

American actor, born 1911. Best known for starring as Schuyler "Sky" King in the television adventure series Sky King (1952–1959), a role that made him a role model for young aviation enthusiasts across America. He was a trained pilot and performed many of his own flying sequences. He died in 1985.
