The Golf Specialist is a 1930 pre-Code comedy short directed by
Monte Brice and starring W.C. Fields, distributed by RKO Radio Pictures.
Fields plays J. Effingham Bellweather, a golfer at a Florida resort who
becomes entangled with a house detective's flirtatious wife while
trying to enjoy a round of golf. The short adapts Fields' vaudeville
golf routine, showcasing his trademark physical comedy and mumbling
asides. The film is in the public domain.
