Johnny Arthur

American stage and film actor (1883-1951) known for his comic roles in silent films. He played the bumbling amateur detective Johnny Goodlittle in The Monster (1925) opposite Lon Chaney, providing comic relief in the horror film. He also appeared in The Patsy (1928) and other late silent-era comedies.
