John G. Adolfi

American film director and actor, born in 1888. He directed Sinners' Holiday (1930), the film debut of James Cagney. A former child actor, he transitioned to directing in the 1920s and worked primarily for Warner Bros. throughout the early sound era. He died in 1933.
