Joe Oriolo

American cartoonist, animator, and film director (1913-1985) who created the 1958 Felix the Cat television series. Oriolo worked as an assistant animator at Fleischer Studios before acquiring the rights to Felix the Cat and producing 260 television episodes featuring the character with his new Magic Bag of Tricks. He also co-created Casper the Friendly Ghost for Famous Studios.
